  • Supervise and sign off on the commissioning of MV switchgear, RMU, transformers, LV switchboards/DBs, MCCs, VFDs, PFC, emergency power (genset/UPS), earthing & bonding, protection & metering.
  • Validate MEP system commissioning interfaces (HVAC/Plumbing/Fire/BMS) from an electrical perspective, including power-up readiness, interlocks, controls, alarms, and IST participation.
  • Draft and deliver O&M and training manuals, spares lists, and warranties, supporting training and client sign-off.
  • Lead regular progress, technical, and commissioning meetings, identifying risks early and executing recovery plans.
  • Manage day-to-day ELV commissioning planning, priorities, and resourcing, maintaining live trackers and punch/defect logs.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of commissioning experience on medium-to-large electrical projects (buildings, data centers, healthcare, airports, industrial, or infrastructure).
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Hands-on experience with MV/LV energization, protection testing (primary/secondary injection), breaker tests, transformer testing, VFD/MCC commissioning, PFC tuning, load bank tests, and generator/UPS changeover.
  • Strong documentation discipline, including test packs, ITPs, PSAT/SAT, certificates, CAT trackers, and red-lines/as-builts.
  • Demonstrated coordination skills with General Contractors, consultants, and subcontractors, along with clear, standards-based technical communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with interfaces to BMS/Fire Alarm during IST; familiarity with ELV systems is beneficial.
  • Exposure to various vendors (*, ABB/Schneider/Siemens switchgear; Cummins/Kohler gensets; APC/Eaton UPS).
  • Proficiency in digital tools for snagging/commissioning, and Power BI/advanced Excel for trackers and dashboards.
  • Experience with authority/third-party approvals, such as utility tie-ins and Civil Defense/House of Expertise where applicable.
