About Alfanar and the Senior Systems Data Center Engineer Role

Alfanar is a Saudi company with an international presence, primarily engaged in the manufacturing and trading of a wide variety of low, medium, and high voltage electrical products. The company's portfolio also includes conventional and renewable energy solutions, oil and gas, water treatment, infrastructure, technical services, and digital solutions. Alfanar's manufacturing operations are centered in Medinet alfanar Alsinaiya, a large complex located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Sr. Engineer Systems Data Center to join our full-time team in Riyadh.

Role Purpose and Technical Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to design, engineer, and implement integrated electrical power systems specifically for containerized data center power modules. This involves ensuring the seamless integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems, all while adhering strictly to defined project specifications and quality standards.

Core Technical Responsibilities

• Design and engineer integrated power solutions for containerized data centers, incorporating MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
• Develop detailed system architectures, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications for Engineer-To-Order (ETO) manufacturing.
• Implement system integration plans to ensure compatibility and optimal performance of all electrical components within the power module.
• Solve complex technical issues that arise during the assembly and integration phases of data center power solutions.
• Analyze system performance requirements and recommend design modifications to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Develop testing protocols and analyze results to validate system functionality against client requirements.

• Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and actively seek automation opportunities for business process improvements.
• Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant field.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience in a related capacity.
