About the Role

Leylaty Group is seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to ensuring the efficient management of all inventory items across the company's hospitality, banqueting, and restaurant operations. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant storekeeping or inventory management capacity.

Role Purpose

The Storekeeper is responsible for the systematic receipt, secure storage, accurate issuance, and stringent control of all stock. This includes maintaining precise inventory levels, ensuring records are current, and guaranteeing the availability of materials to support daily operational demands while actively working to minimize waste and prevent losses.

Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Confirm that all products meet established quality standards and company specifications prior to acceptance.
  • Organize and store inventory items in designated locations, adhering to proper storage procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within the designated inventory management system.
  • Monitor stock levels regularly and report any shortages, overstock situations, or discrepancies to management.

Stock Control and Auditing

  • Issue products, supplies, food ingredients, beverages, and operational materials to relevant departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all stock movements, ensuring traceability.
  • Implement and enforce FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Monitor expiry dates of perishable items and coordinate their proper disposal or return as necessary.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in periodic inventory audits and reconcile any identified variances.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings to management for resolution.

Warehouse Management and Inter-Departmental Coordination

  • Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and optimal organization of all storage areas.
  • Maintain appropriate temperature and storage conditions for food, beverages, and other sensitive products.
  • Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and hygiene standards in all storage and handling operations.
  • Coordinate effectively with Purchasing, Finance, Kitchen, Banquet Operations, and Restaurant Management regarding inventory requirements and stock levels.
  • Prepare and submit accurate inventory reports, stock consumption reports, and variance reports as required.
  • Contribute to cost-control initiatives through diligent and effective inventory management practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a storekeeping, warehouse management, or similar inventory control role, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
