Supervisor Housekeeping (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping (Saudi Only) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure quality standards are met across guest rooms, public areas, and the pool.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management with daily activities and act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms in coordination with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments, and relay issues to the next shift.
• Complete all required paperwork and assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, listening and responding appropriately to concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
