About the Role

Alwedad Charity is seeking a Government Support Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves identifying and securing government support opportunities for the charity's programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing related initiatives. The specialist will play a key role in enhancing the charity's financial resources and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Continuously monitor government platforms and support programs relevant to the non-profit sector to identify new opportunities.
Evaluate the suitability of each opportunity for the charity's objectives and programs, ensuring eligibility criteria are met.
Prepare periodic recommendations on the most appropriate opportunities and their priorities for management review.
Compile application files and gather all necessary requirements and documents according to each platform's templates.
Ensure the completeness and validity of the charity's regulatory documents (licenses, registrations, accreditations, reports) and update them regularly.
Review applications before submission to ensure compliance with requirements and absence of deficiencies.
Track the status of submitted applications through platforms until a decision is issued.
Manage official correspondence with government entities, responding to inquiries and observations within regulatory frameworks and deadlines.
Monitor the implementation of approved initiative requirements and adhere to their timelines.
Prepare periodic and final reports required by funding and supporting bodies.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure fulfillment of contractual and regulatory obligations related to support.
Build a database of platforms, their procedures, requirements, deadlines, and contact information.
Document application procedures and lessons learned to facilitate replication and improve efficiency.
Propose improvements to work mechanisms to reduce time and increase acceptance rates.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant specialization (Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial resource development or dealing with government platforms and entities.
Proficiency in relevant government platforms and systems for the non-profit sector and their operational mechanisms.
Knowledge of regulations and bylaws for fundraising and charitable work in the Kingdom.

Required Skills

Ability to prepare reports and official correspondence with precision and a professional style.
Proficiency in computer tools, data organization, and file management.
Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail, commitment to deadlines, and ability to work under pressure.
