About the Role

Manazel Modern Homes is seeking a Chief Accountant to join its financial team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, particularly within the contracting sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial statements and reports.
• Oversee documentary cycles and review daily entries, as well as client, supplier, and subcontractor statements.
• Monitor construction project costs and compare them against planned budgets.
• Manage cash flows and track accounts payable and receivable.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare tax and Zakat requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience is required. Prior experience in the contracting sector is highly preferred, including understanding of payment certificates, trusts, costs, and subcontractors.

Technical Skills

• Full proficiency in accounting software (*, ERP or specialized contracting software).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Personal Attributes

• High accuracy in work.
• Ability to manage a financial team.
• Excellent skills in preparing financial reports and cost analysis.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at the company's office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Chief Accountant will be an integral part of the financial department, contributing to the company's fiscal operations.
