About Alyaseen Agricultural Company and the Role

Alyaseen Agricultural Company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales and Marketing Director to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position designed for a leader who can drive significant growth and market presence within the agricultural sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the company's commercial future, focusing on agricultural inputs.

Role Overview

The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing initiatives, from strategic planning to execution. This leadership role involves guiding teams, managing the full sales cycle, and developing robust marketing campaigns to achieve ambitious sales targets and expand the company's footprint in target markets. A key focus will be on understanding the unique needs and purchasing behaviors of agricultural customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets and market growth in targeted areas.
  • Lead sales and marketing teams, define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and monitor performance to ensure results.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, encompassing planning, analysis, negotiation, contracting, and key account management.
  • Develop and execute both field and digital marketing plans to enhance the company's market presence.
  • Analyze agricultural customer behavior and factors influencing purchasing decisions to effectively guide campaigns and offers.
  • Design and implement promotional campaigns for agricultural inputs, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and irrigation systems.
  • Build and expand strategic partnerships within the industry.
  • Analyze market data and competitors to identify opportunities and risks, and formulate development plans.
  • Represent the company at agricultural exhibitions and marketing events, strengthening its position in the sector.
  • Ensure seamless integration between sales, marketing, and technical support departments to achieve customer satisfaction and foster sustainable business relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in agricultural sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong field experience in farm monitoring, managing agricultural trials, and providing technical support.
  • Advanced marketing expertise in agricultural inputs, including comprehensive market analysis and understanding of agricultural customer behavior.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate sales and marketing teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing and executing both traditional and digital marketing strategies.
