About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an ESS Business Data Senior Specialist to join their team in Taif. This full-time position is critical for maintaining the engineering records of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Typhoon fleet, ensuring aircraft and equipment airworthiness and configuration management. Job Purpose

The ESS Business Data Senior Specialist will serve as the Team Lead for the Business Data Integrity Team (BDIT). This role encompasses all BDIT requirements, including issue resolution, asset and new instruction record management, and ESS Application development. The position also involves managing the administrative needs of BDIT members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the BDIT to ensure timely and effective management of all Typhoon aircraft and equipment engineering records, both electronic and hard copy.
• Act as the primary focal point within the TSC for Typhoon BDIT, interfacing with the RSAF at all levels to support their understanding of BDIT requirements.
• Liaise with Fleet Management, ESS Reference Data Integrity (DIT), and Forward & Depth Maintenance organizations to ensure nationalized Technical Instruction and Scheduled Maintenance requirements and updates are loaded onto ESS efficiently.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and assistance to ESS Business Data Specialists, ESS NIR Specialists, and ESS Asset Specialists.
• Oversee BDIT Issue, Asset Management, and NIR Management related activities.
• Lead activities to develop ESS Application capability for the RSAF, ensuring all improvement requests are fully validated and authorized before formal release.
• Conduct test and evaluation of all application changes prior to their implementation into the RSAF ESS System.
• Ensure robust 'On the Job' training materials are available to enable BDIT staff to perform their required actions as detailed within BDIT process documents.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum GPA of or at least 5 years of experience within an Aircraft Engineering or Data Management environment.
• IELTS score of or equivalent, or be a Native English Speaker.

Desirable Knowledge

• Understanding of Electronic Equipment Management Systems, specifically the Typhoon ESS system.
• Familiarity with Configured Data Set principles, including Typhoon ESS data, Reference data, Business data principles, and Typhoon Technical Publications.
• Knowledge of Engineering Governance systems, particularly the RSAF Logistics Management Regulations (LMR).
