About the Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced MSS & Operations Support Co-ordinator for a full-time position in Taif. This role is specifically for Saudi Nationals and requires a strong background in operations support and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

The MSS & Operations Support Co-ordinator will be responsible for a range of duties focused on ensuring the efficient operation of squadron activities and supporting RSAF personnel. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and mentorship to RSAF and CMS counterparts, including developing training packages and producing performance reports.
  • Managing resources, prioritizing tasks, and reporting discrepancies to ensure smooth production planning.
  • Supporting the Saudisation process through On-the-Job Training (OJT) and consolidation training for assigned RSAF personnel.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the Squadron Operations room and supporting RSAF flight operations.
  • Executing opening/closing routines, preparing daily briefs, and managing operational information displays.
  • Distributing flying schedules, liaising with maintenance for aircraft allocation, and ensuring mission sortie data is available.
  • Loading and retrieving data for flight operations systems and providing practical instruction to RSAF Operations staff.
  • Handling classified materials securely, monitoring radio communications, and responding to aircraft incidents.
  • Maintaining accurate records of pilot currencies and qualifications, and performing base driving duties safely.
  • Assisting with STANEVAL requirements, including preparing documentation, informing pilots of eligibility, and maintaining currency boards.
  • Ensuring all reports are accurate and submitted within required time limits to company management and the RSAF customer.
  • Supporting Flight Operations across all squadrons and designing/managing training for RSAF counterparts as requested.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Education to HNC level or a recognized equivalent, or relevant experience supported by formal, recorded workplace applied training.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within a high-tempo military squadron operations environment.
  • Over 5 years of knowledge in Operations and Mission Support, including mission planning, flying program maintenance, and debriefing support.
  • 5 years of experience in a Squadron Operations supervisory role.
  • Previous experience in delivering On-the-Job training to subordinates or counterparts.

Desirable Attributes

Additional desirable attributes for this position include:

  • Broad knowledge of the aerospace and defence industry.
  • An understanding of RAF and/or RSAF engineering operating procedures.

Work Context

This is a full-time position based in Taif, Saudi Arabia. The role requires adherence to the company's Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policy through best practices within the work centre.
