Faculty Positions in Architecture and City Design

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for full-time faculty positions within the Department of Architecture and City Design. These roles are available at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor. The positions are based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and English serves as the medium of instruction across the university.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will contribute to the department's academic mission through teaching, research, and service. Primary responsibilities include:

• Teaching courses within the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Conducting research in the applicant’s area of expertise.
• Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Mentoring and advising students.
• Participating in departmental and university activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must hold a relevant ** degree, or be near completion, from an internationally recognized university, coupled with a strong academic background. Candidates should demonstrate the potential to design and teach courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, alongside the ability to produce and publish high-quality research.

• A strong track record of published research in refereed journals.
• Experience in supervising the research of graduate students.
• Relevant teaching experience at the university level.
• For Associate and Full Professor ranks, a proven record of publications in reputable journals is required.
