About the Role

The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran is seeking applications for multiple full-time faculty positions, including the rank of Associate Professor. Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be expected to contribute significantly to the department through teaching, research, and service. Specific responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating teaching experience in the aforementioned areas.
• Contributing to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Supervising undergraduate and graduate students.
• Demonstrating strong research potential through publications in reputed archival journals.
• Conducting original research within their domain of expertise.
• Playing a lead role in research projects, aiming for high-quality publications and research grant income.
• Engaging in high-quality teaching and fulfilling departmental teaching requirements, including developing lab activities at the undergraduate level.
• Incorporating recent advancements in their field into the courses they teach.
• Initiating and maintaining research activities/projects with faculty members, leading to peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals.
• Participating actively in departmental and university service, including program development and other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should possess a strong academic background and demonstrate proficiency in both teaching and research. Essential qualifications and skills include:

• Proven teaching experience in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• A strong record of research publications in reputable journals.
• Excellent communication skills.
