About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Mathematics for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. This full-time position is based in Dhahran and is open to Saudi candidates holding a bachelor's degree, with 0-1 years of experience required.

Role Overview

The Graduate Assistant will contribute to the department's academic mission through engagement in both research and teaching activities. This role is designed to support the department's functions while providing professional development opportunities for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out teaching duties as assigned by the academic department.
• Conducting research activities within the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing administrative tasks to support departmental operations.
• Undertaking any other academic duties as assigned by the concerned academic department.

Time Commitment

The successful candidate will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties, encompassing all assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
