About the Graduate Assistant Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is seeking Saudi national candidates for a full-time Graduate Assistant position in the Department of Physics. This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, holding a bachelor's degree, and is based in Dhahran.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Graduate Assistant will contribute to both research and teaching activities within the Physics Department. The position requires approximately 35-40 hours of professional duties per week. Key responsibilities include assisting with teaching, conducting research, providing academic advising, performing administrative tasks, and undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the department.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• An earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field of Physics.
• Completion of a full-time bachelor’s degree program with a strong academic record, evidenced by very good grades.
• If the bachelor's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a certificate equivalency from the relevant Saudi authority is required.

Language of Instruction

The primary medium of instruction at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is English. Successful candidates will be expected to communicate and perform academic duties effectively in English.
