Faculty Positions in Industrial and Systems Engineering

The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran is accepting applications for full-time faculty positions across all ranks, including assistant professor, associate professor, and full professor. The university seeks candidates with expertise in Industrial Engineering and related fields, specifically in Quality Control, Statistics, and Data Science.

Role Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teaching experience in the specified areas.
• Contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students.
• Conduct original research in the domain of expertise.
• Play a lead role in research projects, aiming for high-quality publications and research grant income.
• Fulfill departmental teaching requirements, including developing lab activities at the undergraduate level.
• Incorporate recent advancements in the area of study into courses.
• Initiate and maintain research activities/projects with faculty members, leading to peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including program development.
• Adhere to job responsibilities as per Ministry of Civil Service regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong research potential, evidenced by publications in reputed archival journals.
• Excellent communication skills.
