About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare is seeking a Senior Physical Therapy Specialist to join their team in Dhahran, Eastern Region. This full-time position focuses on providing advanced physical therapy interventions to support sports injury rehabilitation and post-surgical care.

Role Overview

The Senior Physical Therapy Specialist will administer therapeutic interventions across various settings, including in-patient, out-patient, and home care environments. The primary objective is to restore body movement and agility, manage movement disorders, alleviate pain, and prevent disability stemming from diseases, injuries, or chronic conditions. This role enables individuals with physical limitations to achieve a functional level of normalcy and community participation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and direct physical therapy services to patients requiring advanced, skilled, and complex interventions for a range of illnesses, impairments, and disabilities.
• Mentor and assist staff members in developing their clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills through targeted guidance based on identified needs.
• Assess the need for staff development programs within areas of clinical expertise to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Evaluate patient care supplies and equipment, providing essential input to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master's Degree is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, with at least 2 years of experience post-Master's degree.
• Current BLS Certification is mandatory.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves direct patient care in diverse clinical settings.
