Position Summary

Nammos Resort Amaala is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join its team in Tabuk, with responsibilities spanning operations in Al Wajh and Tabuk. This full-time role involves supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading and managing the restaurant's daily operations, with a focus on the front-of-house team and ensuring an exceptional guest dining experience.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Restaurant Manager's primary function is to oversee daily service operations, lead the front-of-house team, and ensure the consistent delivery of an exceptional dining experience that adheres to the highest standards of quality and service. This position acts as the direct supervisor on the floor and deputizes for the Restaurant Manager in their absence, contributing to the comprehensive leadership and management of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of dining service during assigned shifts to ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.
  • Ensure compliance with all service standards, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Engage with guests, build rapport, ensure satisfaction, and proactively respond to feedback and concerns.
  • Manage restaurant reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while accommodating guest preferences.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to deliver outstanding service.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to communicate menu specials, operational updates, and service expectations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and on-the-job training in service standards, menu knowledge, beverage service, and upselling techniques.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager with staff scheduling, station assignments, and attendance monitoring.
  • Address day-to-day performance concerns and foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, including opening and closing procedures, sales reporting, and cash handling.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of restaurant supplies, such as linen, glassware, and other operating equipment.
  • Support cost-control initiatives by minimizing waste, monitoring supply usage, and reducing equipment loss or breakage.
  • Ensure the accuracy of guest checks and the proper operation of the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and SevenRooms software.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at Nammos Resort Amaala, located in the Tabuk region, covering operations in Al Wajh and Tabuk. The role requires active presence on the restaurant floor to oversee daily service operations.
