About the Opportunity

Blue Hat HR Services is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a full-time position based in Buqayq, Eastern Province. This role is suited for a skilled professional with 2-5 years of experience in SolidWorks design, focusing on concepts, machine designs, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings.

Client Overview

The successful candidate will be engaged with a US-based client specializing in advanced coating services. This client utilizes robotic systems to provide coating solutions for onshore and offshore pipelines, refineries, and various other industrial plants, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop new product designs and concept machines using SolidWorks, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
• Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings with SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and completeness for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes and evaluate design feasibility, functionality, and performance.
• Conduct design reviews and simulations to verify that designs meet performance criteria and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for design optimization and innovation, contributing to product improvements and cost reductions.
• Ensure accuracy in technical work, documentation, and follow-up.
• Take responsibility for assigned work and outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a SolidWorks Design Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in concepts and machine designs.
• Proficiency in the creation of 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to interpret and prepare 2D drawings and revisions.
• Strong commitment to accuracy in technical work and documentation.

Compensation and Employment Details

This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant professional experience. It offers a competitive salary of SAR 10,175 per month, which is inclusive of a food allowance.
