About the Role

ITproposal is seeking an experienced Nutanix Engineer for a freelance, on-call position based in Tabuk. This role focuses on providing Break & Fix support for enterprise infrastructure environments, requiring a professional who can efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Break & Fix support for networking and infrastructure incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Nutanix HCI environments, including AOS, AHV, and Prism.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, virtualization, and networks.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems involving TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.
• Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Respond to critical incidents and service requests within agreed response times.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams on infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, incident reports, and service records.
• Ensure professional interaction with end users, stakeholders, and customers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, networking, or IT support engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Nutanix ecosystem (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Experience supporting VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Proven experience providing Break & Fix support in enterprise environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

• A valid CCNA Certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
• Minimum 90% pass score on the induction assessment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments.
• Professional demeanor and a strong customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nutanix Certification (NCP or higher).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience supporting enterprise networking infrastructure.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python.

This is a freelance, on-call role operating within the Tabuk region. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, a strong sense of professionalism, and the ability to remain calm and effective during critical incidents.
