About Akas Water and the Role

Akas Water is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join its team in Tabūk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and involves comprehensive financial management within the company's operations.

Role Overview

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing various financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and contributing to the timely preparation of financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practical experience, particularly within an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including monitoring customer balances and collection activities.
• Record and review daily collections from various sources (cash, bank transfers, electronic payments).
• Prepare and analyze aging reports for accounts receivable.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage and review the general ledger, bank accounts, and cash movement.
• Oversee accounts payable and manage supplier balances.
• Process salaries, including allowances, deductions, commissions, and incentives.
• Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations.
• Record and review daily accounting entries.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Practical experience of not less than 5 years in accounting, preferably within the industrial sector.
• Proficiency in working with ERP systems, particularly Odoo.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Full knowledge of accounting operations and the preparation of financial reports.
• Ability to work accurately and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility.
