About the Role

Accor is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Credit Manager to join our finance team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the Credit Manager in evaluating creditworthiness, managing credit portfolios, and ensuring compliance with organizational credit policies. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing credit risk and maintaining the integrity of lending operations while delivering professional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze credit applications and financial documentation to assess borrower creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
  • Evaluate credit risk using established criteria and recommend appropriate credit limits and terms.
  • Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with credit policies.
  • Monitor existing credit accounts and identify potential risks or delinquencies requiring management attention.
  • Prepare credit analysis reports and recommendations for review by the Credit Manager.
  • Maintain organized and accurate credit files and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with clients regarding credit decisions, documentation requirements, and account status.
  • Support the Credit Manager in implementing credit policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Conduct follow-up activities on outstanding credit issues and maintain detailed records of actions taken.
  • Assist in preparing credit performance metrics and portfolio analysis reports.
  • Ensure all credit activities comply with Saudi Arabia banking regulations and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in credit management, credit analysis, or a related finance role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in credit risk assessment and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and banking regulations.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and credit documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and record keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with credit management software and financial analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Professional demeanor with strong ethical standards.

Work Environment and Compliance

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires adherence to all Saudi Arabia banking regulations and internal organizational standards, ensuring integrity and compliance in all credit activities. The Assistant Credit Manager will operate both independently and as part of a collaborative finance team.
