About the Career Counselor Role

Waad Education is seeking a Career Counselor to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah Province. This full-time position is critical in guiding students throughout their academic journey and assisting them in exploring various career pathways. The successful candidate will work closely with students, faculty, and parents to provide comprehensive career guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students in identifying their interests, strengths, and career aspirations.
• Develop and organize career-related programs, workshops, and events to inform students about various career options and required qualifications.
• Assist students with college and university applications, scholarship opportunities, and resume writing.
• Connect students with internships, job shadowing opportunities, and mentorship programs.
• Conduct career assessments and facilitate discussions regarding career choices, interests, and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate career education into the academic curriculum.
• Maintain relationships with local businesses, colleges, and organizations to promote student engagement and opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in career counseling or a related educational guidance role.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively guide students through academic and career planning processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, faculty, and parents.
