CNC Technician

About the Role

Neproplast is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Technician to join our CNC Workshop team. This full-time position is based in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah or Makkah, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, programming, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines to produce, repair, and modify precision components.

Role Responsibilities

The CNC Technician will focus on manufacturing, repairing, and modifying precision components, particularly injection molds, dies, and extrusion tooling used in plastic manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating CNC Milling, EDM Wire Cut, and EDM Sinker machines.
• Developing, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, mold designs, machining specifications, and tolerances.
• Manufacturing, repairing, and modifying injection mold components, dies, and extrusion tooling.
• Selecting appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Performing accurate dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshooting machining issues and carrying out routine preventive maintenance.
• Minimizing machining defects, material waste, and equipment downtime.
• Coordinating with production, maintenance, and tooling teams to complete workshop assignments efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, workplace safety procedures, and maintenance requirements.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess practical machining experience and technical expertise in CNC operations. The role requires:

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant CNC Technician role.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating various CNC machines, including Milling, EDM Wire Cut, and EDM Sinker.
• Experience in developing and optimizing CNC programs, preferably with Mastercam or similar CAM software.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and machining specifications.
• Demonstrated background in mold manufacturing or tooling.
• Competence in using precision measuring instruments for dimensional inspections.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for machining issues.
