About the Opportunity

مجموعة جار البيت لإدارة وتشغيل الفـنادق is seeking a qualified Cost Accountant to join its team. This full-time role is based in Makkah and Jeddah, focusing on financial control and operational efficiency within the hospitality sector.

Role Summary

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for conducting comprehensive cost analysis, implementing financial controls, and improving operational efficiency. This involves accurate reporting and continuous monitoring across the company's hotel and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze periodic cost reports for hotel and restaurant operations.
• Monitor Food & Beverage (F&B) costs to ensure cost efficiency.
• Calculate and analyze the cost of meals, products, and services provided.
• Review purchasing, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock balances with system records.
• Prepare cost-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and profitability analyses.
• Work closely with operational departments to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor actual costs against budget targets.
• Provide management with detailed cost analysis reports and recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting.
• Previous experience in both the hotel and restaurant industries is mandatory.

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage Costing principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position within a dynamic hospitality group. The role requires presence in both Makkah and Jeddah, contributing to the financial oversight of diverse operations.
