Hydraulic Engineer

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a highly experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the efficient performance, inspection, and optimization of hydraulic systems within infrastructure and utility-related assets. The role requires a strong background in Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of hydraulic systems, including pipelines, pumps, valves, and control systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and failure analysis.
• Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports, O&M manuals, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with PMC teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and approve technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Participate in planning, budgeting, and scheduling for O&M activities.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, KPIs, and SLAs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Hydraulic Engineer.
• Demonstrated experience in Operation and Maintenance (O&M) projects.
• Proven involvement in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and control mechanisms.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in monitoring system performance and implementing corrective actions.
• Ability to provide technical support for troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Skilled in conducting inspections and assessments for compliance.
• Competence in preparing technical reports, manuals, and evaluations.
• Effective coordination and communication with various stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a professional consultancy environment, collaborating with PMC teams, contractors, and client representatives on critical infrastructure and utility projects.
