About the Role

Grant Thornton is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on supporting the efficient movement of materials and products across various operational stages.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records, and controlling costs within logistics operations. This position emphasizes adherence to regulatory compliance and upholding high service and quality standards. The specialist will collaborate with warehouses, suppliers, Quality teams, and other internal stakeholders to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound shipments to ensure the timely receipt of materials.
  • Plan and monitor outbound shipments to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Work closely with warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Track logistics expenses and ensure documentation is complete and properly organized for audits and reporting.
  • Monitor supplier performance and escalate service issues when required.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality or delivery performance.
  • Partner with Quality teams to conduct warehouse audits and inspections, prepare compliance reports, and maintain product quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to customs, regulatory, HSQE, and internal requirements.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in data analysis, problem-solving, continuous improvement, planning, communication, negotiation, and leadership. This role requires a proactive and accountable individual who can identify risks and improvement opportunities while balancing cost, quality, service, compliance, and delivery requirements.

Qualifications and Experience
