About the Role: New Merchant Acquisition Specialist

Tamara is seeking a New Merchant Acquisition Specialist to join its In-store Operations team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves signing new businesses and inspecting in-store marketing efforts at Tamara’s partner stores. The position requires on-the-ground presence, visiting both new and existing merchants. Candidates should have 0-1 year of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and approach potential merchants in their physical store locations.
Introduce Tamara's services and products, explaining the benefits of partnership.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with merchants, understanding their needs and challenges.
Conduct in-person product or service demonstrations and address merchant concerns to secure new partnerships.
Collect and report market insights, competitor activities, and merchant feedback, including visibility of in-store materials.
Guide interested merchants through the application and onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition and foster long-term partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 year of relevant experience.
Demonstrated motivation and eagerness to learn.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah and operates within a dynamic start-up environment. It requires frequent field visits to new and existing merchant locations.
