About the Role

Rawafid Industrial is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the procurement process across various construction projects, ensuring that all necessary materials, equipment, and services are acquired effectively and efficiently. The Procurement Officer will collaborate closely with project managers and other departments to facilitate project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) 2018.
• Contact vendors to obtain quotations in line with PR requirements.
• Prepare commercial comparisons of vendor quotations for approval.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable commercial conditions.
• Generate Purchase Orders within Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018.
• Coordinate material delivery with vendors and the project team.
• Prepare payment certificates for completed procurements.
• Record material receipts in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018.
• Log vendor invoices into Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018.
• Communicate with the accounts and finance departments to ensure timely payment processing.
• Liaise with the project team regarding purchasing and delivery requirements.
• File purchase orders and payment certificates according to company policy.
• Generate reports from Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably within the construction industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 is essential for this role. The position requires strong analytical capabilities to evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contracts and company policies.
