This involves translating clinical needs and market insights into effective product positioning, pricing strategies, and launch plans.

The role requires close collaboration with regional sales teams, distributors, regulatory bodies, supply chain, and the global product team at headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the MEA product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, from selection and positioning to launch, growth, and rationalization.
  • Develop go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, and clinical value propositions for each product line.
  • Lead new product launches and localization initiatives across MEA, ensuring cross-functional readiness.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor products, pricing, and tender intelligence to inform portfolio decisions.
  • Create product training, sales-enablement tools, and technical/clinical materials for sales teams and distributors.
  • Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical stakeholders to validate product value and integrate field feedback into the product roadmap.
  • Partner with Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product registration, availability, and compliance.
  • Support tenders by providing product specifications, technical dossiers, and compelling value arguments.
  • Track product performance, forecast demand, and manage margins against commercial targets.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • 5–8 years of product management experience, preferably within medical devices, medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, or the broader healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing product portfolios, successfully launching products, and driving growth in the Middle East; experience with MEA or GCC scope is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, including expertise in pricing, forecasting, market analysis, and tender support.
  • Solid understanding of the clinical and technical aspects of medical products, with the ability to translate this into compelling value propositions.
  • Comfortable working with sales teams, distributors, regulatory bodies, and operating within tender-driven markets.

Location and Travel

The position requires the candidate to be based in Saudi Arabia or be willing to relocate to the region. Regular travel across the Middle East and Africa is an integral part of this role.
