About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Reservation Supervisor to join the team at its InterContinental Jeddah property. This full-time position is critical for managing the daily operations of the booking department, leading the reservation team, and strategically optimizing room revenue. The role ensures the smooth execution of all booking processes and contributes directly to the hotel's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all daily booking activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reservation processing.
• Oversee the handling of all incoming room requests, group blocks, modifications, and cancellations received through various channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.
• Professionally manage VIP bookings, complex guest requests, and effectively resolve escalated guest concerns to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.

Team Leadership and Development

• Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and performance feedback to reservation agents.
• Develop and manage agent schedules to ensure optimal coverage and maintain consistently high service standards within the department.

Revenue Optimization and Inventory Management

• Continuously monitor room availability, dynamic rates, and market codes to strategically maximize hotel occupancy and overall room revenue.
• Ensure the precise maintenance of inventory accuracy across all booking systems and platforms to prevent discrepancies.

Required Experience

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in a reservation supervisory role or a similar capacity within the hospitality industry.

This full-time position is based at the InterContinental Jeddah hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a fast-paced and guest-focused hotel environment, where attention to detail and proactive management are essential for success.
