About the Role

Petromin Corporation is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to join their team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for leading payroll operations and supporting the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs. The manager ensures accurate and timely employee payments, maintains strong payroll controls, and ensures total rewards programs are competitive, compliant, and clearly communicated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including monthly inputs, approvals, reconciliations, statutory deductions, and final settlements.
  • Maintain payroll calendars, controls, audit trails, and documentation for payroll-related processes.
  • Partner with Finance on payroll accounting, accruals, cost reporting, reconciliations, and budget inputs.
  • Support benefits administration, vendor coordination, renewals, employee eligibility, and issue resolution.
  • Administer compensation programs, including salary structures, allowances, incentives, bonuses, and annual compensation review cycles.
  • Support job evaluation, benchmarking, and market data analysis to inform total rewards decisions.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, risks, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare payroll, compensation, benefits, and headcount reports for leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure employee reward changes are accurately reflected in HRIS, payroll systems, and related records.
  • Improve payroll and rewards processes through automation, controls, data quality, and clearer employee communication.
  • Respond to employee and manager questions related to payroll, compensation, and benefits in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records, reports, and explanations.
  • Stay current on relevant payroll, compensation, benefits, and labor compliance requirements.

Performance Measures

  • Payroll accuracy and on-time payment rate.
  • Compliance with statutory, labor, and internal policy requirements (zero critical audit findings).
  • Turnaround time on compensation and benefits queries and issue resolution.
  • Timeliness and quality of payroll, compensation, and benefits reporting.
  • Successful and on-time delivery of the annual compensation review and benefits renewal cycles.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with payroll processing and controls, compensation structures, and benefits administration.
  • Working knowledge of Saudi labor law, GOSI, and statutory payroll requirements.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, discreet with sensitive information, and comfortable partnering across HR, Finance, Legal, and external providers.

Work Location

This position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with potential work in Jeddah.
