The Role: UX Writer

Salla is seeking a UX Writer to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering a hands-on opportunity to shape the merchant experience by creating clear, useful, and intuitive content. The role involves collaborating with product teams to simplify complex user journeys and develop content that enables merchants to navigate the Salla platform with clarity and confidence. This position allows for strengthening UX writing skills in a real-world product environment and understanding content decision-making at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear, concise, and consistent UI copy for various product elements, including buttons, forms, error messages, tooltips, notifications, and onboarding flows.
• Develop content across multiple formats, ranging from microcopy and in-product guidance to longer-form product content and emails.
• Partner with Product Managers to ensure content supports both user needs and overarching business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Designers in Figma to integrate content and design seamlessly into a unified user experience.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all product touchpoints.
• Adapt content effectively to address diverse user needs, contexts, and audience segments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical writing experience gained through internships, cooperative training programs, freelance work, university projects, or similar engagements.
• A portfolio or relevant writing samples are preferred to demonstrate capabilities.

Important Eligibility Note

Applicants for this position must be eligible for the Tamheer Program. Additionally, candidates must not have been registered with GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) during the past six months.
