Divisional Safety Coordinator Role Overview

Almarai is seeking a Divisional Safety Coordinator for a full-time position in Hail. This role involves advising and assisting functional managers within manufacturing to effectively manage all aspects of health and safety. The coordinator will provide support for risk assessments and accident investigations in accordance with procedures established by the Group Safety and Risk Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the adequacy and suitability of risk assessments to recommend improvements in protective measures and work systems.
• Review the adequacy and suitability of accident reports to recommend improvements in investigation quality, thereby enhancing protective measures and work systems.
• Collect and analyze accident records to identify trends and common causes, prioritizing health and safety efforts accordingly.
• Collaborate with the training function to develop health and safety training courses and assist with their delivery as needed.
• Provide counseling to employees to ensure adherence to best practices, aiming to reduce health and safety risks for employees and others.
• Act as a coach and mentor, championing the highest standards of health and safety at all times, and working to develop competence and enthusiasm among employees.
