About the Role

Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency Makkah is seeking a dedicated Barista to join their food and beverage team in Makkah. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality beverages and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Role Overview

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a range of coffee beverages, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction. This role involves direct interaction with guests, maintaining beverage quality, and managing the coffee station.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages according to established standards and recipes.
• Execute latte art techniques to enhance beverage presentation.
• Engage with guests by providing a warm welcome, assisting with menu choices, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the coffee station and equipment, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels for coffee beans, dairy, and pastry items, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Nationality: This position is open exclusively to Saudi Nationals.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Barista is preferred. Candidates with strong foundational skills are also encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating commercial espresso machines, grinders, and manual brewing equipment. Knowledge of coffee bean profiles and grind adjustments is required.
• Language: A good command of both Arabic and English is necessary for effective communication with a diverse guest base.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities, a professional appearance, and a collaborative approach to working within a team are essential.

This is a full-time position located in Makkah, within the Makkah Region.
