The Opportunity: Carpenter – Engineering

An opportunity has arisen for a Carpenter – Engineering to join the team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah. This full-time role is integral to maintaining the hotel's facilities and ensuring operational excellence within a luxury 5-star environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests through the designated system and report any material or technical issues to the supervisor.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining Jumeirah's quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Apply new skills and best practices to support operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Experience and Education

• 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star property.
• Secondary education is required.
• Vocational certification and trade qualification are preferred.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong technical skills relevant to the trade.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and building systems.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.

Compensation

Jumeirah offers an attractive salary in Saudi Riyals (SAR) for this full-time position.
