About the Carpenter Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Carpenter to join its team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the construction, erection, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The Carpenter will utilize both hand and power tools to perform these tasks, contributing to the overall maintenance of the hotel and providing practical solutions to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair works as required within the hotel.
• Perform day-to-day carpentry maintenance for issues of a carpentry nature.
• Construct and fix shelving and cabinet structures.
• Repair door locks, security items, and various types of windows and glazing.
• Manage partition woodworking machinery and perform minimal general building tasks.
• Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and perform repairs or replacements using hand tools.
• Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard using paint, hand tools, and paneling.
• Fill cracks and other defects in plaster or plasterboard, and sand patches using appropriate tools and materials.
• Ensure all work adheres to country technical regulations and safety standards.
