Chief Operations Officer/ Executive Director (Real Estate Developer)

About the Role

Big Fish Consult is seeking a Chief Operations Officer/Executive Director for a leading Real Estate Developer client. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves overseeing the operational efficiency of large development areas and managing a significant team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain accountability for the day-to-day operations across large development areas, ensuring high levels of operational efficiency.
• Manage the operational aspects of all assets within the portfolio, including buildings, infrastructure, and public areas.
• Supervise service delivery for safety, security, facilities management (FM), maintenance, and cleaning services.
• Communicate effectively with government authorities and external stakeholders to meet operational requirements.
• Prepare and deliver high-level reports to the Executive leadership team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Arabic is required.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a team of up to 10 direct reports.
• Strong understanding of the bidding and tender process for multiple suppliers.
• Solid knowledge of contract management to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Understanding of governance, compliance, and Health and Safety regulations.
