About the GIS Tamheer Opportunity

Abdul Latif Jameel is offering a GIS Tamheer opportunity for a dedicated professional to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on leveraging Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support strategic planning and operational analysis within the organization.

Strategic Network Planning and Forecasting

The individual in this role will contribute to strategic network planning by developing and maintaining service capacity planning models across the network. Key tasks include calculating and forecasting UIO (Current & Future Forecasting) up to 2030, and analyzing future demand based on PMA/CDA population studies, demographics, and vehicle growth trends. This position also involves preparing market research reports and analytical studies to support strategic decision-making and providing recommendations for strategic expansion based on demand, population, and coverage analysis.

Analytical Reporting and Information Systems

• Maintain Service Capacity Planning KPIs across the network.
• Monitor operational KPIs including Capacity Utilization, STO, TSR, Stall Efficiency, and Coverage Performance.
• Develop analytical dashboards and reporting tools, specifically utilizing Power BI.
• Prepare management reports and analytical presentations to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain databases and deliver data analysis reports with high accuracy.
• Develop and maintain Management Information System (MIS) KPIs.

Market Research and GIS Spatial Analysis

• Understand market dynamics and their business impact on the automotive sector.
• Provide strategic recommendations to maintain business advantage.
• Utilize ArcGIS mapping tools to perform business network planning and geographical analysis.
• Develop analytical maps, drive-time analysis, and coverage studies.
• Analyze population demographics and geographical demand distribution.
• Support strategic planning through spatial analysis and develop visualization dashboards using BI tools.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, along with experience in Power BI and database management, is essential for performing the responsibilities outlined.
