The Role of Key Account Manager

VAULT Logistics is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing strategic client relationships and driving revenue growth across key accounts. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing account plans, retaining strategic clients, and identifying new business opportunities within existing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve individual revenue, Gross Profit (GP), and GP-margin targets.
Develop comprehensive account plans covering volume, trade lanes, wallet share, profitability, and growth opportunities.
Retain strategic accounts and work to increase shipment volume, revenue, and share of wallet.
Identify and convert new Ocean, Air, and Road Freight opportunities within existing accounts.
Manage customer business reviews, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and contract renewals.
Coordinate service recovery efforts, manage customer escalations, oversee credit limits, and follow up on collections.
Cross-sell VAULT’s integrated logistics solutions and safeguard long-term account profitability.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in key account management within the logistics sector. Experience in managing diverse freight opportunities (Ocean, Air, Road) and a proven track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets are essential.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role may involve engagement with clients in other key cities such as Riyadh, Dammam, and Al Khobar.
