About the Network & IPTV Engineer Role

BITS Arabia Company is seeking an experienced Network & IPTV Engineer to join their team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining robust network and IPTV infrastructure, particularly within high-availability hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki and Aruba solutions.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, and threat prevention features.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security across the enterprise.
• Administer and support end-to-end IPTV systems, encompassing headend equipment, streamers, middleware, and content distribution networks.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network outages, IPTV service interruptions, and performance issues.
• Plan and execute hardware refresh projects for network and IPTV equipment.
• Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams for system upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Ensure service continuity and adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Support multicast networking, video streaming technologies, and specific hospitality network requirements.
• Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives and technology upgrades.

Required Technical Expertise

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki wireless, switching, and security solutions.
• Operational experience with Aruba networking products, including switches and wireless infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in Fortinet firewall administration, VPN implementation, and network security management.
• Practical experience managing IPTV platforms, video streaming systems, middleware, and content delivery services.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network environments.
• Familiarity with multicast routing, VLANs, QoS, network monitoring, and performance optimization.

Professional Experience and Skills

• Experience working in hospitality, hotel, resort, or other high-availability environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced operational environments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
