About the Role

Bnoon, a prominent entity within the Global Fertility Network (GFN), is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Officer to join its team. Bnoon is recognized as one of the fastest-growing fertility and women's health networks in the Middle East, operating state-of-the-art centers and performing a significant volume of IVF cycles annually. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, specifically serving the cities of Jeddah and Makkah.

Role Overview

The Occupational Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant working environment across Bnoon's facilities. This role involves proactive identification and mitigation of workplace hazards, adherence to regulatory standards, and the promotion of a strong safety culture. The position requires a dedicated professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures across all facilities.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor the implementation of safety programs and ensure compliance with approved safety procedures.
• Organize and conduct safety awareness campaigns and training sessions for employees.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and related documentation.
• Foster a positive safety culture among employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Report unsafe conditions, practices, or equipment and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and response planning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Saudi National.
• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Previous experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
• Experience with JCI and CBAHI standards is preferred.
• Relevant occupational health and safety certifications are required, such as NEBOSH and OSHA.
• Classification by the Ministry of HRSD is required.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.

Skills and Competencies

• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and safety best practices.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
