The Role of Orientation Specialist

Lucid Motors Middle East is seeking an Orientation Specialist to join our team in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah. This full-time role is crucial for organizing and facilitating comprehensive orientation sessions, ensuring new hires have a seamless and positive onboarding experience. The specialist will coordinate with various departments for materials and logistics, manage training content on the company's Learning Management System (LMS), and deliver engaging, compliant orientation experiences tailored to specific roles, thereby accelerating confidence and performance for new joiners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in New Hire Orientation and provide a positive onboarding experience for all new hires.
  • Facilitate sessions covering company culture, conduct, EHS/HV awareness (as applicable), quality mindset, and digital tools.
  • Coordinate facility tours, guest Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), assessments, and day-one logistics such as badging and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Curate and maintain onboarding materials, and manage LMS sessions and completion tracking.
  • Track 30/60/90-day checkpoints and outcomes of the buddy program.
  • Organize and conduct weekly orientation sessions to provide essential company information to new employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and IT, to arrange necessary materials, spaces, and resources for a smooth onboarding process.
  • Update and maintain training content on the company's intranet and Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Ensure new hires have a positive experience by providing consistent support and clear communication during their initial weeks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Safety awareness training is preferred.
  • Experience in conducting virtual training sessions.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Proficiency in e-learning software and platforms.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
