Procurement Executive

About the Role

Jumeirah, a global leader in luxury hospitality, is seeking a Procurement Executive to join the team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah. This full-time position involves managing procurement activities for goods and services to support the operational requirements of the property.

Jumeirah operates a portfolio of 29 properties across 11 countries. Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah provides comfort and Arabian hospitality in the Holy City, featuring dining venues, retail outlets, a gym, executive lounge, and meeting spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for goods and services in line with operational requirements, approved budgets, and company policies.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and support price and commercial negotiations to achieve best value.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure all procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and properly approved.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor open purchase orders, delivery timelines, and pending requirements, and follow up on any delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, quotations, contracts, and procurement-related documentation.
• Support supplier performance reviews and assist in identifying reliable and cost-effective sourcing options.
• Ensure all procurement activities are fully compliant with Jumeirah’s internal procurement policies, approval processes, delegated authorities, and applicable procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness for procurement transactions in accordance with internal control requirements.
