Procurement Specialist at HAK Engineering

HAK Engineering is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is essential for managing and executing procurement and supply activities, ensuring efficiency and transparency within the company's operations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all procurement activities comply with approved specifications, prices, and terms. The specialist will be responsible for providing company and project requirements on time, while maintaining optimal quality and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Review purchase requests to ensure completeness of specifications, quantities, and necessary approvals.
Source qualified suppliers and solicit competitive quotations.
Compare quotations based on critical factors including price, quality, specifications, delivery time, and payment terms.
Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial comparison sheets and provide recommendations.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
Issue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Coordinate effectively with the Engineering, Projects, Warehouse, and Finance departments.
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage procurement and supply chain activities efficiently.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering projects in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires coordination across various internal departments to achieve procurement objectives.
