About the Role

Edition is seeking a Server to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position involves providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from seating to payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
Set tables according to event type and service standards.
Answer questions about menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu inquiries, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability.
Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
Record transactions accurately in the MICROS system at the point of order.
Monitor guests' satisfaction with each food course and beverage.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware throughout the day.
Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.

Operational Duties and Professional Conduct

Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; ensure confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds (** kg) without assistance, and objects exceeding 50 pounds (** kg) with assistance.
Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, steps, and stairs.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: High School Diploma or *** equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is desired.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
License or Certification: None specified.
