Technology Lead

About the Role

Baytonia is seeking a Technology Lead to join its team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves analyzing, developing, and managing the company’s technical and business systems. The Technology Lead will connect departmental needs with suitable technology solutions, focusing on ERP, Odoo, Magento, and E-commerce platforms, to enhance operational efficiency, data quality, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor company systems as a System Administrator, including users, permissions, configurations, and technical support.
• Analyze departmental needs and translate them into clear technical requirements.
• Manage and develop ERP systems, monitoring their integration with other systems.
• Implement and manage Odoo modules, including Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Accounting, and Human Resources.
• Manage and develop the Magento platform, integrating it with company systems, payment gateways, and shipping providers.
• Operate and improve E-commerce platforms, focusing on user experience, orders, inventory, payments, and delivery.
• Act as a Product Owner by defining priorities, managing the product backlog, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current processes to identify opportunities for automation and reducing manual work.
• Prepare process maps and maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and business requirements.
• Coordinate with developers and service providers for system changes and integrations.
• Analyze system incidents and technical problems, identify root causes, and follow up on resolutions.
• Participate in system and update testing, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before launch.
• Monitor APIs, databases, and data flows across ERP, Odoo, Magento, and E-commerce platforms.
• Prepare reports and dashboards related to system performance, sales, and operations.
• Train users, provide guidance and support, and monitor system adoption.
• Maintain system security, data integrity, backups, and business continuity.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant technology role.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, Odoo, Magento, and E-commerce platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Ability to manage system integrations and ensure data quality.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to operations in Jeddah. The role requires collaboration with various departmental and technical teams to achieve business objectives.
