About the Role of Urban Planner

HAK Engineering is seeking an experienced Urban Planner to join their team in Makkah and Jeddah. This full-time role involves preparing and developing urban planning studies and plans, analyzing spatial data and land use, and proposing planning solutions. The Urban Planner will ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards while contributing to high-quality consulting services and client satisfaction.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to support sustainable and balanced urban development through expert planning and analysis. The Urban Planner will be responsible for developing comprehensive planning solutions that adhere to technical requirements and contribute to the overall success of projects within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare urban and regional planning studies and master plans.
• Analyze land use and urban data to recommend appropriate planning solutions.
• Develop structural and detailed plans in compliance with applicable regulations and planning standards.
• Coordinate with project teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure integrated project deliverables.
• Review planning outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance before submission.
• Comply with company policies, quality procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Contribute to the development of planning solutions that support sustainable urban development.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in urban planning.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and develop comprehensive urban planning studies and plans.
• Proficiency in analyzing spatial data and land use.
• Strong understanding of sustainable and balanced urban development principles.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with work primarily conducted in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires collaboration with various project teams and stakeholders to achieve integrated project outcomes.
