About the Role

Arabian Metal Industries is seeking a Welding Foreman to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and is responsible for overseeing and managing daily welding activities within the production line.

Role Purpose

The Welding Foreman will ensure welding quality, productivity, safety, and compliance with production requirements. This role involves leading and guiding welders, monitoring welding processes, and ensuring all welding work adheres to approved drawings, specifications, weld sizes, procedures, and required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control daily welding activities within the production line.
• Allocate welding tasks according to production plans and priorities.
• Ensure welding is carried out according to approved drawings, weld sizes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Monitor weld quality, including weld appearance, penetration, dimensions, and defects.
• Check and verify welding parameters, consumables, equipment, and machine settings.
• Ensure correct welding techniques are followed for different materials and thicknesses.
• Monitor productivity and ensure welding activities are completed according to production targets.
• Identify welding defects and coordinate corrective actions to reduce rework and material wastage.
• Train, guide, and support welders to improve their skills, efficiency, and quality of work.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and other departments to resolve welding-related issues.
• Ensure welding equipment and work areas are used safely and maintained in proper working condition.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant welding supervision role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and guide a team of welders.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, techniques, and quality standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah. The role involves working within a production line environment, coordinating with various departments to ensure operational efficiency and quality.
