About the Role

شركة عمر الزرعة للتطوير العقاري, a prominent company in the real estate sector, is seeking a highly experienced General Manager for Hotel Units. This full-time position is based in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will be entrusted with the complete oversight of managing and operating hotel unit projects, with a focus on achieving superior quality standards, maximizing profitability, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive management for hotel units, overseeing all operational and administrative functions including reception, maintenance, housekeeping, and customer service.
• Develop, implement, and supervise operational, strategic, and marketing plans to align with and achieve project objectives.
• Prepare and submit regular operational and financial reports to project owners.
• Lead talent acquisition, recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of staff, fostering a professional and effective work team.
• Continuously enhance service quality, improve the overall guest experience, and elevate customer satisfaction rates.
• Manage contracts with suppliers and service providers, conducting negotiations to secure the most favorable terms.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulations and directives issued by the Ministry of Tourism and other relevant governmental bodies.
• Oversee risk and emergency management, monitor key performance indicators, make informed operational decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Strategic and Commercial Management

• Lead the pre-opening phase for new projects, guiding them through to successful launch and full operation, including the establishment of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manage pricing strategies, optimize occupancy rates, maximize profitability, and ensure the achievement of financial targets.
• Supervise all electronic booking channels, such as ********, Expedia, and Airbnb, and actively work to improve platform performance and guest ratings.
• Engage with international tourism agents, negotiate and finalize occupancy contracts, and manage the reception of tourist delegations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the management and operation of hotel units or serviced apartments.
• At least 3 years of this experience must be in a General Manager or Operations Manager role.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Proven practical experience in revenue management, pricing strategies, and electronic booking channel management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality sector regulations and legislation within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities in team management, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in utilizing Property Management Systems (PMS) and various booking software.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with a preference for candidates proficient in additional languages.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role demands a dedicated professional capable of leading and managing hotel unit operations within a dynamic real estate development environment.
