About the Role

Sheraton is seeking an Attendant-Housekeeping to join their team. This full-time role involves maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The position requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
Fill carts with supplies and transport them to assigned areas.
Enter guest rooms following established procedures, ensuring vacancy before entry.
Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items; make beds and fold terry.
Clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
Verify that all appliances are present and in working order within the room.
Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.

Safety and Security Compliance

Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Properly store flammable materials according to guidelines.

Guest Service and Teamwork

Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities.
Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
Support the team to achieve common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance.
Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
