About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Head Waiter for the InterContinental Riyadh. This is a full-time position that requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The Head Waiter will be responsible for leading assigned restaurant sections and ensuring high service standards during various meal periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned restaurant sections during breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffet, and à la carte operations.
• Ensure all tables, buffet, and service stations are fully prepared before service commences.
• Allocate and coordinate waiters within the assigned section as directed by the Supervisor.
• Ensure consistent adherence to IHG service standards and the established sequence of service.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and actively engage with guests to enhance their dining experience.
• Ensure orders are taken accurately and delivered efficiently to guests.
• Coordinate closely with the Culinary team regarding guest requests, dietary requirements, and buffet replenishment.
• Support the achievement of revenue targets and average checks.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of experience in a similar capacity within the hospitality industry. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to lead service operations and maintain high standards.
